New Hope was thrilled to get a call to save a dog and her six new born pups that were found living under a granary on a farm near Perdue. Our foster home coordinator, Yvonne, went out and gathered up Tasha and her pups and took them to All about Cats and Dogs Veterinary Hospital where they spent a few warm nights before moving to their foster home. We are grateful to all the crew at the vet hospital for looking after these lovely dogs.
Tasha and her pups will be posted on our petfinder site in the coming weeks..
Ditto was found yesterday, and is now back safe with her family. Thanks to everyone who helped look for her!
A former New Hope dog named Ditto was lost the other day in an off leash park - chased away by two larger dogs. She was last seen running down a grid road near Sutherland Beach Dog Park. Ditto is very shy of strangers, so if you see her, please approach quietly and speak in a reassuring tone of voice. If you see Ditto or know where she might be, please call her family at (306)-717-5774.
October 6, 2009: Instead of clothes and presents, recently-turned-10 years old Denby Huber decided to donate much needed food and treats to New Hope Dog rescue. The donation of over 3 gigantic bags of dog food and more treats than we can count will be distributed to our foster homes, and will help us support rescue dogs currently in foster care. This will allow us to take in more dogs that need help.
On behalf of every one here at New Hope, and all of our rescue dogs, thank you and happy birthday Denby!
