I was wondering if you would have an applicant that would be looking for a pet like her? She is absolutely a great dog and great with kids that are old enough not to poke at her eyes, pull her ears, etc. She's great with our 4 year old. She's really well mannered and sometimes just needs a firm correction without any physical force of course. She cannot be put in a kennel because she was kept in one before we got her and had sores all over her paws from it, and she is very afraid of them. She would do good in town, but needs walks daily to be happy. I don't know how good she would be on a farm, she likes to run and explore things and still isn't very good a listening to come back...needs a leash on at all times while walking. Rizzo is spayed, but when they did that, they found bone fragments inside her from dead puppies which I guess was the reason that her first owners wanted to get rid of her. She was taken care of and is completely healthy now. She looks like a Bullmastiff cross, light in color, very large. She loves the outdoors, but needs to come in for at least the night and would love to be in more around people. She would do great with an affectionate person that wanted a loveable large dog. She responds great to positivity and loves to be loved, (as most dogs do). She also loves other dogs, but I don't know about other pets. She can also scare strangers off with her bark and size. We wanted to ask you guys to help us because we know you screen your applicants and we figured this would be the best way to find her a great home. It pains us to do this, but we know we have to. You also helped find a farm for our malamute a few years ago, after we were forced to find him a new home b/c of barking, and that was a perfect fit for him. We don't want to advertise Rizzo on Kijiji, so if you could help us that would be great! Please call me at 683-5228 or 260-6362 if you can help or if you have more questions. Thanks so much for the great work you do!! We have reccommended you to anyone looking into dog adoptions. Sincerley, Karen Hiebert
