Spay and Neuter Program
One of the most effective ways of preventing such an overpopulation of unwanted animals is to ensure that dogs are spayed or neutered. Because of this, New Hope Dog Rescue offers a low income spay and neuter program, to those who cannot afford to pay for the procedure themselves. Funding for this program is limited, so applicants need to meet the following qualifications to be considered.
- Your dog needs to have up to date vaccinations, and proof of this will be requested.
- You must pay for the cost of these vaccinations.
- If the dog owner is on social assistance, we will pay for the operation. Otherwise, we will award a percentage of the cost at the discretion of the spay and neuter program coordinator.
For more information or to apply for the spay and neuter program, please email newhoperescue@hotmail.com or call 668-8153 and leave a detailed message in our voice mail box. Our Spay and Neuter Program Coordinator will contact you as soon as possible.
