Annual Book Sale

Our Annual Book Sale in Saskatoon is BACK from January 23 to 25, 2026. Find us at The SPOT, located next to Grandma Lee’s in Market Mall.

Here are our Book Sale hours:

  • Fri, Jan 23: 10am – 8pm
  • Sat, Jan 24: 10am – 6pm
  • Sun, Jan 25: 12pm – 2pm (unless we sell out earlier)

Donate Books, Puzzles, and Board Games

Each year, we ask our community to donate new and gently used books, puzzles, and board games for us to sell at our Annual Book Sale. All proceeds from the sale go directly toward rescuing and rehoming dogs in need – while you clear up those bookcases and shelves to make room for… well, more.

Here’s the list of what we can sell at our book sale:

  • New and gently used books of all genres and ages (hardcover or softcover)
  • New and gently used puzzles
  • New and gently used board games

To help our volunteers sort items efficiently and ensure everything we sell is in great condition for shoppers, here are the items we cannot accept:

  • Household items
  • Books, puzzles, or board games with stains, tears, rips, or missing pieces/pages
  • Books without covers
  • Textbooks
  • Encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauruses, and other books of reference
  • CDs, VHS tapes, and cassettes
  • Scratched or burned DVDs

Seems pretty straightforward? We hope so!

How to Donate

From now until January 18, bring your puzzles, games, and books to any of these drop-off spots, and they will make sure it gets to the Book Sale for you:

From January 19 in the afternoon to January 21, please bring your donations to The SPOT in Market Mall during mall hours.

Show Your Support

There are so many ways to support our Annual Book Sale, whether it’s buying books, dropping off a few puzzles, or making a donation. The support from our community is what has given us the opportunity to host a book sale for over a decade now. Your donation or sponsorship will go far, helping us make this the biggest year yet! We hope to see you there!
