Daisy

Daisy

Daisy arrived into our care October 11, 2021 after being hit by a car in a rural location. She is currently at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine receiving care and having diagnostic tests done to determine what surgery will be best for repair her injuries.

Update: On October 13, 2021 Daisy had a broken femur surgically repaired and a Femoral Head Ostectomy, which is a surgical procedure that aims to restore pain-free mobility to a diseased or damaged hip, by removing the head and neck of the femur (the long leg bone or thighbone). She has a fractured pelvis that should heal with crate rest.

Please consider donating to our Guardians of Hope fund. 100 percent of all funds donated to this fund goes directly towards dog’s emergency vet costs for dogs like Daisy.

Update: December 13, 2021, Daisy has been cleared for adoption and has found an amazing forever home!
