Billy

Billy

Billy arrived into New Hope’s care on March 19, 2021 after we were contacted by Canine Action Project about an injured pup. Billy was seen at one of our partner vet clinics where it was discovered his injury was not a recent injury, he had a fracture to his leg but it had already healed.

It was determined we should try some physical therapy exercises with him for a couple of weeks to see how Billy would respond. Unfortunately his injury to his leg was too severe and he had it amputated on Friday April 9th.

Please consider donating towards our Guardians of Hope Fund. 100 percent of all money donated towards the fund goes directly towards the medical costs for Billy and other dogs that need specialized surgery.

Update: May 4, 2021 we are happy to announce Billy has found his forever family and has been adopted.

We’d like to thank our friends at I Sit Too for generously sponsoring a portion of Billy’s care!
