Bonnie

Bonnie

Bonnie arrived into New Hope’s care on January 18, 2022 after we were contacted by Canine Action Project about a dog that had been hit by a car.  A volunteer went immediately and picked Bonnie up and took her straight to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine Small Animal Clinic to have testing done.

After x-rays of her chest and pelvic area, it was discovered Bonnie does have 16 fractures to her pelvis and sacrum. The hope is to keep Bonnie on crate rest for the next 6 weeks and allow her to go outside for short 5 to 10 minute leash walks for bathroom purposes, she may be able to heal without surgery.

Please consider making a donation to our Guardians of Hope program where your donations continue to help dogs like Bonnie. 100 percent of all donations towards this fund goes directly to the animal’s medical expenses for major medical care.

Update: On April 19, 2022, Bonnie has found her loving forever home.
