Clove

Clove

Clove came into New Hope with her mom and siblings when she was about 2 weeks old. Shortly after she arrived the foster home noted she couldn’t stand properly. Clove was seen at one of our partner vets at that time but they were not able to determine why she was having issues.

After several weeks she went back to the vet and had x-rays done, it was determined that she had comminuted fractures to distal metaphyseal growth plate of both left and right femurs. A segment of her right femur fracture displaced caudomedially. This may have happened at the time of birth, we are not sure, but it was early in her life before she arrived to New Hope.

Currently her foster is keeping her quiet and allowing her bones to heal.

Please consider donating to New Hope’s Guardian of Hope fund, 100% of the money donated to this fund goes directly towards the medical cost for dogs like Clove.

Update: June 29, 2020 Clove has been adopted to a wonderful family.
