Cricket

Coming in with her littermates at just about 10 days old after her mom was killed by a vehicle hit, Cricket seemed to be doing well. Then on Sept 19th at just 3 weeks old her stomach became bloated and she started to show signs that breathing was difficult. Thankfully her foster home caught on that she was struggling and we got her into the WCVM where she was admitted and got oxygen therapy. It seems that she had developed aspiration pneumonia and required medical support.

We are happy to share that Cricket was able to go home to her foster family on September 22nd where she is definitely stronger and brighter then on the weekend.
