Fawn

Fawn

On Sept 14th, our parters with CAP were approached about Fawn. Approximately 3 weeks ago this sweet girl was hit by a car and the results were ugly. Her femur appeared to be broken in multiple spots and her knee appeared to be up in her hip. On Sept. 15th our partner vet, Mohawk Animal Clinic,  amputated her leg.

Now, when you meet her, you would never know she was missing a limb, she’s so full of love and energy and she’s already got the stairs mastered.

Fawn will need a few weeks to recuperate in her loving foster home and then she will be ready for adoption.

Update: November 8, Fawn is now enjoying life in her forever home.

Please consider making a donation to our Guardians of Hope program where your donations continue to help dogs like Fawn. 100 percent of all donations towards this fund goes directly to the animal’s medical expenses for major medical care.
