George

George

George arrived into New Hope’s care on January 12, 2022 in very poor condition. He was taken to one of our partner vet clinics that day. His tip of his tail has frostbite and both of his eyes were concerning. Eye drops were started immediately.

Unfortunately on January 30, 2022 George’s right eye ruptured and he is scheduled to have it removed on February 2. His left eye also has the veterinarians concerned. We have scheduled a consult with an ophthalmologist.

George had his eye enucleation on February 2 and is doing great.

Update George had his suture removed February 16, 2022 and has been cleared for adoption. George has found his loving forever home!

Please consider donating to our Guardians of Hope fund. 100 percent of all funds donated to this fund goes directly towards dog’s emergency vet costs for dogs like George. Without the necessary funds we could not continue to assist these dogs like George!

We’d like to thank our friends at PetValu Martensville for generously sponsoring a portion of George’s care!
