We would like to introduce you to Gunner. This sweet soul came into our care on Sunday, Oct 23, 2022.

The caring team at Orchard Vet have confirmed that he is dealing with Sarcoptic Mange, this is why he is so very bald at this time. Sarcoptic Mange is contagious so this poor boy is going to do a lot of resting and healing in his own space away from his foster family and his foster mom will be ensuring that he stays warm while he regrows his hair. Meanwhile he is a loving boy who is looking forward to being able to play with the other dogs and get unlimited snuggles.

Update: November 8th, Gunner is medically cleared from his mange and is able to start mingling with the resident dogs at his foster home. He’s continuing to strengthen and grow more hair before he’s ready for adoption.

Update: Gunner is ready to find his very own forever home!

Update: Gunner found his forever home and we are so very happy for him!

Please consider making a donation to our Guardians of Hope program where your donations continue to help dogs like Gunner. 100 percent of all donations towards this fund goes directly to the animal’s medical expenses for major medical care.
