Ice

New Hope was contacted on July 25, 2019 about Ice, he had been hit by a car. Ice was immediately brought into Saskatoon ad taken directly to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine for emergency care. He has had a CT scan and he does have a few injuries to his head including a broken jaw. He was moved out of ICU on July 29th and we are hoping he can move to his loving foster home later this week.

Ice had a feeding tube placed so he would not have to chew food to give his jaw time to recover. He had the feeding tube removed after 3 weeks and we area happy to update that he is doing very well eating soft and transitioning to hard food.

Update: Ice has been adopted to an absolutely wonderful home.

Please consider donating to help with Ice’s medical expenses. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated in continuing the care of our Guardians of Hope!
