Loretta

Loretta

Loretta arrived to New Hope after we were contacted by Canine Action Project about a dog that had an injury to its tail. She went immediately to a partner vet clinic where it was discovered her tail was completely dead and would need to be removed.

We are so proud to be able to work with Canine Action Project and assist them with finding foster homes for dogs; sometimes, as in Loretta’s case, sharing the cost of the procedure she needed.

Loretta did have her tail amputated on June 25th and is recovering in a loving foster home.

Update: Loretta has found her forever home.

New Hope’s Guardian of Hope fund allows us to provide the necessary care for dogs like Loretta. Please consider donating to New Hope’s Guardian of Hope fund, 100% of the money donated to this fund goes directly towards the medical cost for dogs like Loretta.
