New Hope was contacted through CAP to help an owner who wanted to surrender their pup, now name Olivia. Olivia appeared to have an injury to her front right limb. She was taken directly to a partner vet clinic to assess and see if anything was broken. The vets determined that she has nerve damage to her front right leg.
In the upcoming weeks, a plan will be formulated to see if surgery or just rehabilitation will be the best treatment. A referral to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine was done to see if they can give New Hope some options for her long term.
Update: Olivia has found her loving forever home.
