Phoebe

Phoebe

Phoebe arrived to New Hope on June 28, 2020, she was severely emaciated. She has been quilled by a porcupine and had not been able to eat. She had so many ticks on her, we lost count as we removed them. She was seen by a partner vet where they removed quills from her mouth, nose and feet.

She has been treated several times for removing migrating quills. Her skin is still healing but is improving quite a bit. She is still being treated for lesions on her feet and occasional quill that migrates out. Phoebe hopes she will be able to go up for adoption by the end of September.

If you would like to donate to our Guardian of Hope fund, 100% of the funds goes directly towards the medical costs of dogs just like Phoebe.

Update: Phoebe was adopted to her amazing forever family October 4, 2020.
