Sydney

Sydney, first named Pepper, came to me in 2006. She was my shadow for 14 years, with numerous pack members, both animal and people, along the way. She was a fearless defender, especially on walks. Her love of leather furniture caused the demise of many leather couches, (I felt that was the price you pay to have her by my side!) if I was ever away for awhile, she would race with everything she had to bring me her favourite toy!! Smiling! She knew me to be a rather ‘dropsy’ person in the kitchen, which meant I always saw eyes looking up as I chopped anything. In her twilight she loved the cabin and when home, as Covid began, she would wait by my office door each morning! She was a really good girl!
