Tesla

Tesla

Tesla came to New Hope as a puppy in August 2018, she arrived with her litter of sibling. Shortly after her arrival her foster noticed she was always wet in her genital area. It appeared she was urinating on herself quite often. She was treated with a couple of different medicines but it did not resolve her symptoms.

We have Tesla seen at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and after having a CT scan and X-rays she was diagnosed with an ectopic ureter, relaxed urinary sphincter and caudally displaced bladder.

Update: Tesla will be having surgery on December 11, 2018 at the WCVM and we are hoping she has a speedy recovery.

If you would like to donate towards Tesla’s medical expenses, please consider donating to our Guardian of Hope fund. This fund goes directly towards Tesla’s medical costs and other dogs that join New Hope Dog Rescue’s foster care program that have additional medical care needed during their stay with us.

Update: July 2019, Tesla has been cleared for adoption and has moved to her loving new home!
