Charlie

Charlie

On July 15th, New Hope was contacted by our partners in dog health, Canine Action Project (CAP) about 6 year old, little Charlie. He had an injury to his back leg that had been assessed by one of their partner vets and needs time to rest and heal before a final decision can be made on the fate of this leg. Charlie is also needing dental work done as he travels down this road of recovery. Charlie is now enjoying getting some well deserved TLC in a loving foster home.

Update: Charlie has been seen by our partner vet, Orchard Veterinary Clinic, on Aug 30th – he had 12 teeth removed. They were happy to tell us that he did not seem to have any injury to his jaw other than the teeth issue. His leg continues to heal, but he does have early stage arthritis in his ankle. We are hoping that after his 2 week follow up he will be cleared to be moved to his forever home.

Update: Charlie has been given a clean bill of heath and has moved into his forever home.

Please consider making a donation to our Guardians of Hope program where your donations continue to help dogs like Charlie. 100 percent of all donations towards this fund goes directly to the animal’s medical expenses for major medical care.
