Volunteer with New Hope Dog Rescue
New Hope Dog Rescue depends on the dedication of our many volunteers to carry out our mission of rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. We are always looking for fun-loving and energetic individuals to join our team! A few of these opportunities include:
- Home visits/finalizing adoptions
- Transport for dogs coming into our rescue
- Dog Handler at events
- Event worker
- Foster Parent
- Picking up/dropping off donations
How much time do I need to commit volunteering?
Any amount of time you can donate to volunteering is greatly appreciated and we are happy to work with you to find the volunteer task/role that will work with your schedule and availability.
Where do I volunteer?
New Hope does not currently have a building or facility – we are a network of volunteers. Depending on the task/role you volunteer for you can volunteer from home (a great deal of our work is done online or at home as a NHDR foster parent) or at events and fundraisers throughout the city.
What are the requirements to volunteer?
Volunteers must be 16 years or older to volunteer on their own with New Hope. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Depending on the volunteer role, there may be additional requirements.
If you are interested in joining our team please fill out the Volunteer Application and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you soon. If there are other ways you believe you can help our organization, please feel free to contact us via email here.
