Adeline

Adeline

Adeline arrived into New Hope’s care on  February 9, 2022. Unfortunately Adeline tested positive for parvovirus and is being treated at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine where she can get the supportive care she needs. There she can be isolated and receive specialized care for the deadly disease.

February 17, 2022: Adeline is still being treated at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine Small Animal Clinic, she has a secondary condition where she now has an open wound on her elbow. They have been doing wound management including dressing changes several times a day and are watching it closely.

Update: Adeline was discharged on February 19. She still has to go back to the Small Animal Clinic a couple of days a week for bandage changes. We are still hoping for the best and Adeline’s wounds will heal.

Update: Adeline has healed and moved into her forever home.

Please consider making a donation to our Guardians of Hope program where your donations continue to help dogs like Adeline. 100 percent of all donations towards this fund goes directly to the animal’s medical expenses for major medical care.
