Kady

Kady

Kady is a sweet young dog who came into our care from another rescue due to her more extensive needs. Kady has suffered an injury to her hip that has caused it to be dislocated. The original rescue had a surgery done to repair the entropion on her left eye, her eyelid was inverted.

Kady’s foster home is already reporting that she is a very happy girl who wants to snuggle and love people despite the pain that she must be in.

Update: Kady has been seen by our partner vet, the team at Orchard Veterinary Care, and at this time she is scheduled to undergo a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) on November 28th. This will remove the ball of her femur on the affected side. The goal of this surgery is to allow Kady a life with considerably less pain than she is currently experiencing.

Update: Kady has been medically released and is ready to find her people!

Final update!! Kady has found her forever people! We are so happy for them to start their adventures together!

Please consider making a donation to our Guardians of Hope program where your donations continue to help dogs like Kady. 100 percent of all donations towards this fund goes directly to the animal’s medical expenses for major medical care.
