The Purses For Paws committee is sad to announce the cancellation of this year’s event. As many of you already know COVID-19 has created challenges that made it impossible to host this event, this year safely.
You’ve been a hero to the animals in the past: despite COVID-19, you can be a hero again this year:
While this event might be postponed, the need to rescue animals never stops. This event is one of New Hope’s major annual fundraisers, having raised over $30,000 for the costs for dogs with major medical conditions, and its loss will have a great impact this year. If you are in a position to make a donation in lieu of the event, please consider doing so to ensure New Hope Dog Rescue can continue rehabilitating and rehoming orphaned and abandoned dogs in Saskatchewan. Your gift will be much appreciated.
On a brighter note, we just happen to have the most fabulous committee who are ready to plan a wonderful event for 2021. So please, hold on to those purses that are collecting dust as we will be asking once again, for donations of ‘gently loved’ purses.
