This young girl was run over by a vehicle on July 19, 2026, and brought to New Hope's care the next day. She was taken to visit the team at Orchard Veterinary Care where x-rays showed a fracture to her left hind leg. The team felt that they could repair the fracture, allowing her to keep the leg. The repair surgery was completed on July 24. Salsa is now resting and healing in her foster home and it is reported that she is so very sweet and kind and we are so excited that we get to be a part of her journey. Salsa is expected to have at least 6 weeks of healing ahead of her.
