Welcome to fostering with New Hope Dog Rescue! Our fosters make our mission possible, and this portal is your one-stop shop for everything you may need. We want you to be set up with everything you need from the start. Please take a moment to read and download each of the documents below:

Supplies
​What happens when your supplies get low? What if your foster dog has a special request? We have multiple supply locations across Saskatoon for convenient pick-up and drop-off. As of July 2025, please contact any of the following locations to make arrangements:

Foster Supplies List
Requesting Supplies
The best time to reach out for more dog food is when you have 10 days left of rations, as we cannot ensure that the same food will be available. This will leave you ample time to transition your foster dog to a new type of food.

If you need a special request item, such as a special diet or medication for your foster, please email the Executive Director at director@newhoperescue.org to submit your request. For food and medication, please reach out when you have 10 days left to allow sufficient time for the orders to be made. If it's an item that you feel would be beneficial but is not necessary, a request may be sent out to our supporters to see if we can get the item donated. For any regular supplies, please reach out to the supply locations.
Veterinary Partner Clinics
Regular vaccines, surgeries and intensive care, dental, and more! Here’s where you can take your foster dog when they need medical experts. And remember, please pick up a cone prior to surgery to help keep our costs down.
Saskatoon
Bridge City Veterinary Rehabilitation – rehabilitation services, will complete wellness, vaccines, and microchips at the time of spay/neuter
Brighton Veterinary Clinic – will complete wellness, vaccines, and microchipping at the time of spay/neuter to help keep costs down
Erindale Animal Hospital – will complete wellness, vaccines, and microchipping at the time of spay/neuter to help keep costs down; has a cap on how much they will charge for our dental work
Forest Grove Veterinary Clinic – will complete wellness, vaccines, and microchipping at the time of spay/neuter to help keep costs down, prefers to prescribe a relaxant to help the dog be comfortable in the clinic at the time of surgery – this would require a quick visit to weigh the dog prior to the surgery
Furry Friends Animal Hospital – no spays or neuters under 6 months
Orchard Veterinary Care – will complete wellness, vaccines, and microchipping at the time of spay/neuter to help keep costs down; great for orthopedic needs (does chiropractic)
8th Street Pets & Vets – will complete wellness, vaccines, and microchipping at the time of spay/neuter to help keep costs down; a cap on how much they charge for dental

Attending Adoption Events
